Drew Cox IMPRESSES VOTERS AT CRAWFORDSVILLE TOWN HALL

Congressional candidate Drew Cox was ranked the highest among voters at a townhall hosted by the Heartland Democracy Project.

CRAWFORDSVILLE, In. – Congressional candidate Drew Cox met with constituents at a local townhall at the Crawfordsville District Public Library to give remarks and hear concerns from constituents.

The event was hosted by the Heartland Democracy Project. It also featured candidates John Whetstone, Thomas Hall, and Joe Mackey.

“The purpose is to hear from the Democratic candidates about their strategy for winning and serving in this most critical seat,” the Heartland Democracy Project said in a Facebook post.

Attendees were asked to rank candidates with Cox being the favorite by over two thirds of voters. They were also asked to provide feedback on what each candidate did well and what they could do to improve.

Cox’s policy positions resonated with voters. Additionally, his military service gave credibility to his positions with voters. This was contrasting with other candidates that were dismissive and even argumentative at time with constituents.

“The election will be here before we know it,” Cox said. “Thankfully groups like the Heartland Democracy Project are hosting events like this to ensure that voters can learn as much about the candidates as possible before heading to the polls.”***
