Drew Cox MEETS WITH BOONE COUNTY DEMOCRATS

Congressional candidate Drew Cox to met with constituents to hear about their concerns and share his vision for the future.

LEBANON, In. – Congressional candidate Drew Cox met with constituents at the Lebanon Public Library Friday morning to field questions about his plans should he be elected as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The event was well attended. Constituents pressed Cox about a range of issues ranging from young voter turnout to Second Amendment rights.

“People have lost their minds over pundits more than kids getting shot in schools,” a person present at the event said. “There has got to be a policy where guns are not allowed in schools.”

Cox, who spent four years in the United States Marine Corps, outlined his gun policy as well as others that have shown to be important to voters. Attendees were receptive to Cox’s remarks and showed excitement at the prospect of unseating the current representative for Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District.

“We’re here to listen to you guys.” Drew said. “And we’re going to take those things to Washington.”

The event was organized by the Boone County Democratic Party.
