Drew Cox to meet with voters at local food drive
Congressional candidate Drew Cox to meet with constituents and collect donations to help Hoosiers facing food insecurities.
WEA TOWNSHIP, In. – Congressional candidate Drew Cox to meet with constituents at a local food drive from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to receive donations to benefit Hoosiers in need.
The collection event will take place at the Wea Prairie Branch Library. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods.
“Food security is a very real issue facing Hoosiers,” Cox, congressional candidate for Indiana’s 4th Congressional District said. “We shouldn’t have to choose between dinner and rent.”
Cox previously served as a United States Marine. After leaving active-duty service, he completed his DMA and is currently an adjunct professor at Purdue University.
In addition to assisting at the food drive, Cox will also be available for conversations with constituents. The event is open to the public regardless of political affiliation.
The event is organized by the Tippecanoe County Democratic Party. Organizers will have refreshments for attendees.
