Meet Drew
Born and raised in Indiana, Drew is the son of a dedicated elementary school teacher with 35 years of service and a fourth-generation farmer. In 2012 he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. After completing his military service, he used the GI Bill to pursue higher education at Indiana University and went on to earn a doctorate in music from the University of Illinois.
Drew currently serves as a Visiting Instructor at Purdue University and remains actively involved in his community. He is a proud member of the local Marine Corps League and American Legion Post 11. Drew also performs as a percussionist with both the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and the Lafayette Citizens Band.
In his spare time, Drew recently completed an Associate's of Applied Science in Energy Technology from Ivy Tech Community College. This program deepened his understanding of energy consumption, production, and cost—knowledge he values as incredibly valuable for everyday Hoosiers.
